Colorado Springs Kids Magazine Publishes 2026 Fall Events Guide
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. Colorado Springs Kids Magazine has published its 2026 Fall Guide, an annual roundup of pumpkin patches, hayrides, harvest festivals and family events across the Pikes Peak region. The guide runs in the magazine's October and November print editions and is available now online.
This year's guide covers more than twenty events from Monument to Fountain, including pumpkin patches, free nature center programs, Halloween nights built for younger children and the November calendar leading into the holidays.
“Every October, parents ask us the same question: where do we actually go this weekend?” said Hiba Talukdar, Editor and Publisher. “The guide is our answer, with the hours, the prices and the details that moms are searching for."

Fall Mountain Farm, Monument. The Autumn Adventure sells three levels of access instead of one gate price, so families are not paying for activities their youngest will skip. The $10 Buddy Pass covers animals and trails while leaving out the inflatables and hayrides, a rare gentle option for toddlers or a child who needs a quieter visit. Open Thursday through Sunday. Miner's Pumpkin Patch at the Western Museum of Mining & Industry, 225 North Gate Blvd. Saturdays in October, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Hayrides and a hay maze alongside gold panning, blacksmith demonstrations and a pumpkin catapult, plus a buy-one-get-one offer on museum admission so the day can move indoors when it gets cold. Colorado Kids Ranch, 2205 E Hwy 105, Monument. Open September 16 through October 31, Wednesday through Sunday. Pony rides, hay rides, a petting area and mazes on one flat site built for younger children. Admission is $18 to $20 and children 3 and under are free. School groups are $14 per student including a pumpkin, with teachers free. Plan your visit.
Jack-o-Lantern Trail at Fountain Creek Nature Center, 320 Pepper Grass Lane, Fountain. Saturday, October 24, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., $5 per person. Two hundred lit jack-o-lanterns line the nature trail while families roast marshmallows, hear stories told with puppets, make a craft or two and meet a few creepy creatures. Costumes are encouraged and candy is handed out on the way out.
Boo at the Zoo, the Emma Crawford Coffin Races, the Jack-o-Lantern Trail in Fountain, Dia de Muertos at the Fine Arts Center and the full October and November calendar are all included.
